Changing the Fashion Industry: 1 Cuff At A Time

Changing the Fashion Industry: 1 Cuff At A Time

At Kendra Phillip, we find it important to respect the environment that has given us so much to be grateful for.  We hope that by modeling our business plan in an environmentally friendly manner, we will help set the tone for the rest of the fashion industry. One way we make our practices more environmentally friendly is by conserving resources.

How Do We Conserve Resources?

Most large companies produce large quantities of inventory so that they are always ready when a customer needs something. This results in large amounts of excess inventory, wasted time, and a negative impact on the environment. Unfortunately in the fashion industry, the excess inventory is often thrown away.

We do not want to be part of the detriment to our environment. Instead, we have taken a different approach to manufacturing. Rather than producing a lot of product with no one to use it, we wait to produce our jewelry until there is a demand for it. We always have a few extra cuffs, bracelets, or earrings on hand, but we are never wasting resources. Everything we make is either sold, recycled, or redesigned to make our clients happy.

Zero Waste

We aim to have zero waste in our manufacturing processes. In order to do this, we play close attention to your wants and needs. Our clients are #1!

We love to gather feedback and collect all the information we can about the jewelry you love so that we can better design our newest collection. Trunk shows are the best place to learn exactly what you desire. We want you to love absolutely everything you take home from Kendra Phillip. If you are not happy with our jewelry, we edit and change things until we know the final product is exactly what you need.

Social media is another great way for us to interact with our favorite clients. We love to post new designs on Instagram and Facebook to see what you like best. The more feedback we can gather from you, the more selective we can be in the design process. This in turn saves natural resources and helps us stick to a more environmentally friendly business model.

How Can We Do This?

Kendra Phillip is a 100% USA made company. By outsourcing any necessary work to local Rhode Island companies and doing most of the production in the same building as our office, we are able to listen to all our clients biggest concerns. We can manufacture necessary products in a timely and efficient manner with little to no waste. Initially, this is more expensive. In the long term, we are wasting less resources, saving more time, and causing less harmful impacts on our environment. Thanks for doing your part by being the best fans and most amazing clients we could ask for. <3
